My Vision:
God has provided me with a vision to help women learn to live a God-centered life. It is my desire to assist women in becoming stronger students in the Word of God and therefore learn to make decisions based on God’s will for their lives. There is hope for women struggling with the responsibilities of family, finances, and career. With the many demands on women in today’s world, I want to help them learn to cope with the pressure by relying on God for their strength.

Education:
I graduated from York Comprehensive High School in York, SC and then attended Winthrop University (formerly Winthrop College) in Rock Hill, SC. I hold three degrees which include a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Secondary Education and Biology, and a Master of Education with a concentration in Educational Media. I am fortunate to be able to attend Liberty University via online graduate studies and I am pursuing a Master of Arts in Religion with a major in Christian Leadership.

Employment:
I am employed with York Intermediate School, Grades 5 and 6. I am a ministry assistant at Lakeside Baptist Church, serving in the music department, educational department, and financial department.

Interests:

I have a variety of interests but my favorite ones are baking and reading. I also enjoy Christian music and going to movies.

Favorite Bible Verses:

It’s hard for me to choose favorite Bible verses because I have so many. I would have to say Philippians 4:13, Matthew 6:33, and Jeremiah 29:11 are three of my top favorite verses. Then I have favorite passages like Ephesians 6:10-18 that discuss the armor of God.

Favorite Hymns & Praise Songs:
I have loved Southern gospel music all of my life and being a pianist I have lots of favorite songs. If I have to name favorites I’ll have to say “How Great Thou Art”, “Because He Lives”, and “Sheltered In The Arms of God” because the messages are so strong and speak to me when I play or sing them. My favorite praise song is "How Great Is Our God" and I find myself singing it all the time!

Favorite TV Shows & Movies:

I do not watch a lot of TV unless I have time to watch a movie with my sons. My favorite TV show is “The Andy Griffith Show”. I enjoy watching movies (when time permits) and my favorite movie of all time is Gone With The Wind because I love history and I like to read and watch movies from the Civil War period. Other favorites include Facing The Giants, The End of the Spear, and The Blind Side.
