My Vision:

It is my desire to assist those persons who are unsaved to find Jesus, and do whatever it takes to lead them into a personal relationship with Him. This is a clear vision for my life and ministry. There are billions of people in the world and only One True God. There are too many people who do not know God through a personal relationship with His beloved Son, Jesus Christ. No matter who you are, no matter what your past looks like, if you are lost I want you to know Jesus!

Education:

A 2010 Graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Religion.

Employment:

I started preaching in April of 2002, serving as Interim Pastor for Central Baptist Church in York, SC. In March of 2003, I was called as Pastor of Covenant Baptist Church in Union, SC. In May of 2006, a new opportunity entered my life as I ventured out to start a new church plant right here in Union on Lakeside Drive. God named this church, Lakeside Baptist Church. I am proud to be the founding pastor of Lakeside as we continue to grow and expand many ministry opportunities and programs for our Lord.

Interests:

I enjoy digging in the dirt with my skid-steer and mini-excavator and then hauling it around in my dump trucks. Also I enjoy golf and motor cycling.

Favorite Bible Verses:

I really don’t have too many favorite Bible verses but right now Matthew 6:33 and John 10:10 seem to be at the top of the list.

Favorite Hymns & Praise Songs:

How Great Thou Art, Victory in Jesus and Because He Lives are part of my favorite hymn collection but today’s music offers great opportunities for singing praises to our Lord. Songs such as Blessed Be The Name, Come, Now Is The Time To Worship and Did You Hear The Mountains Tremble all help me get zoned in before preaching the Word of God!!

Favorite TV Shows & Movies:

I don’t watch a lot of TV but I do like Andy Griffith and college sports. Pawn Stars (make sure you read that correctly) is really fun to watch as well. My favorite movies include Facing the Giants, Fireproof, Flywheel, End of the Spear and The Blind Side.

Most of all I am just glad to be God’s servant!
